Gary Muncy was charged with murder after a fight during the Schnitzelberg Walk in Germantown on September 24, 2011. Muncy bonded out of Metro Corrections September 30, 2011.

Police said Muncy punched 38-year old Donald Smith Jr. after some sort of altercation during the Schnitzelberg Walk. Smith was pronounced dead at U of L from a traumatic brain injury.

WAVE 3 tried to talk to Muncy when he was released on bond but he did not comment.
