Reality Check: Is the IRS trying to shakedown hundreds of Tea Party groups across the nation?

Editor's note: This Reality Check first aired in March of 2012. We are reposting it because of it's relevance Friday's events in Cincinnati.

Are Tea Party groups across the nation getting the shake-down from the IRS?

Tonight, we are looking at whether or not there is a political motivation as to why the IRS is now suddenly asking for the names of everyone in these group, the names of their spouses, and even wants to look at their Facebook pages.
