FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky House has passed the main, or executive branch, state budget, on a 78 to 17 vote.
The legislative branch budget passed 94 to 2.
Similar measures call for 8.4% spending cuts in the judicial branch. They have just passed, 90 to 3.
The House committee reduced bonded indebtedness 50 percent more than the Governor had asked and closed the gap of "structural imbalance," that has been a problem for decades, by about 40 percent.
