HENRYVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Henryville students will be out of class for a couple more weeks as administrators prepare two temporary facilities.

Elementary students will go to Graceland Christian School in New Albany. Junior high and senior high students will attend the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg.

WAVE 3 toured the facility, which is just 10 minutes north of Henryville. The newly construction building spans 80,000 square feet.

Administrators hope students will be in the Science Park by April 2nd as cleanup and assessment continues in the school they attended just a week ago.

"We wanted to get the kids back in school as quick as possible," Robert Peacock said, Scott County Economic Development Corporation President.

The spacious facility offers wifi broadband, plenty of hallway space for lockers, if the school chooses to install them and security to ensure a safe educational environment.

West Clark County Community Schools will have to pay a rental fee to use the space.
