Hall Contracting working out details for another Kentucky Bridge

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - The company responsible for repairs to the Sherman Minton Bridge has begun engineering and design for repairs to a western Kentucky bridge.

Hall Contracting Vice President Tom Roberts said engineers are working out final details for production of steel that will be needed for the massive project.

Report: Lights on bridge were scheduled for repair today

In January, a cargo ship slammed into the Eggner Ferry Bridge over the Kentucky Lake tearing part of the bridge to pieces.

The bridge is scheduled to reopen May 27.
