Words can heal. They can also hurt. We seem to be collectively using them to hurt more than heal these days.
What happened to civil discourse? Why is our language so coarse now? We don't have total control over our lot in life – but we do control how we conduct ourselves.
We can do better when it comes to talking to and about people. Being respectful and using common courtesy should always trump the opposite.
Celebrate the Commonwealth this week and support your team with civility.
Celebrate your candidate for President in the coming months without tearing down the other candidate.
Celebrate your colleagues in the workplace without casting aspersions on those you dislike.
We offend no one when we aren't profane.
