Good Afternoon!

I hope you'll join Janelle MacDonald and me for WAVE 3 News at 5!

First, powerful tornadoes have struck again… this time in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it was all caught on camera. You'll see incredible video of the funnel clouds tearing a path of destruction through parts of north Texas as we continue to follow damage reports out of the area.

Of course, we'll have live team coverage of the celebration in Lexington, where the NCAA champion University of Kentucky Wildcats just arrived from New Orleans. WAVE 3's Maira Ansari is in Lexington for the official party, and our Matt McCutcheon is attending a police briefing where officers will tell us specifics about the mayhem in the streets last night that led to dozens of arrests and even a shooting.

With all the hype surrounding men's basketball, women players sometimes get lost in the mix. You might not realize that tonight, an Indiana school could be bringing home a national championship to the Hoosier state. We'll have their story at 5.

Ford's Louisville assembly plant will get a lot busier tomorrow when thousands more employees head back to work. WAVE 3's Elizabeth Donatelli takes you inside the plant to show you how workers are trained and explain how many more of them will eventually be back on the job.

A retired Florida 2nd grade teacher is accused of traveling to Kentucky to have sex with children. Find out how he was busted by authorities here in the Bluegrass State.

Identity thieves no longer have to steal your wallet to gain access to your credit cards. WAVE 3's John Boel is working for you, explaining how to protect yourself.

And Lori Lyle will show you how to Stretch Your Dollar by showing you how to change your supermarket strategy.
