LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Michigan-based outlet mall developer is looking to Kentuckiana for its next project.
The Army Corps of Engineers confirmed to WAVE 3 that Horizon Group Properties has filed plans with the Corps. According to those plans, the nine-building, 355,000 square foot development would be built in Simpsonville, right off of I-64.
The Corps is taking public comment right now, then must decide if it will approve the development on the site, which is a wetland.
Horizon's website says the developer has outlet malls across the country. Some of the stores in other states include Banana Republic, Michael Kors and Off 5th.
