Good afternoon!

I hope you got outside for at least part of today to enjoy this beautiful spring weather … and I hope you're making plans to be inside to join Dawne Gee and me for WAVE 3 News at 5.

Today, Maira Ansari talked to the father of 7-year-old Aiyana Osborne, who died yesterday after she was hit by a car shortly after getting off a TARC bus with her family.  She'll tell how this family is coping with an unimaginable tragedy.

We're also hearing today from the brave 10-year-old who called 911 after Jeffersonville Police say his mother shot his sister, then killed herself.  You'll hear how his quick, calm action may  have saved his sister.

And, in Madison, a church is out tens of thousands of dollars and police say the thief was someone church members wouldn't expect.

Plus, one of the first drugs in more than 12 years to help you drop some pounds.  Lori Lyle introduces us to people in Kentuckiana already seeing results.

We'll see you today at 5:00.
