Jack Ragan enlisted in the Army Air Corps in  July 1942.

He served in Trinidad Area, during period of African Invasion (Anti Submarine in Caribbean, off shore of Venezuela).

Jack was then transfered to the Pacific Theater where he served with the 386th Air Service Group (386th asg) of the VII Fighter Command, Army Air Force.  In mid 1944 he was part of the Invasion force at Iwo Jima .

Jack was discharged in December 1945.

Member of Army Air Corps as Radar Section Chief- Feb 1943-Nov 1945.
