The S.P.O.T. Truck offers pet owners in District 13 convenient services

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE)- The S.P.O.T. (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today) Truck comes to District 13 on Saturday, April 21 offering rabies vaccinations and microchip implanting on the scene. Pet owners will also be able to license their animals at the same time.

Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch, Louisville Metro Animal Services and The Derby City Eagles urge pet owners to visit the truck. "This is a wonderful chance to make sure your pets are protected," says Welch. "If you have not found time during the week to make arrangements to take care of these things for your pet, this event is one-stop shopping for the responsible pet owner."

The S.P.O.T. Truck will be located at the Derby City Eagles #2173, Dave Bassett Pavilion, 201 Outer Loop from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 21st.
