JCPS in Supreme Court; Mega Millions winners; Pass the Cash

Good afternoon!

It's good to see the sun finally making a reappearance mid-week.  It just lifts the mood, don't you think? Join us tonight for WAVE 3 News at 5 and see if you can tell the difference.

JCPS parents are closely following the fight over the wording of that Kentucky law that could change where your kids go to school.  The Kentucky Supreme Court heard it today.  We're going to take you inside the courtroom.

We told you last night at 11 about the 3-day-old baby who was kidnapped after his mother was shot in Texas.  Today we're learning more about the plot and the suspect who police say is a nurse.

The 218-million-dollar question has been answered.  Today we're meeting the retired Illinois couple who won a third of last month's record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot.  Imagine how their lives must have changed!

Plus, Dawne Gee helps Pass the Cash to a woman who's suffered a triple whammy, but her friend is making sure she knows she's still loved.

We'll see you at 5:00!
