Hobert Judd is the brother of Earl Judd , of Greensburg, KY.  Hobert enlisted in the US Navy during WWII and served at the Great Lakes Naval Station.

One of Earl's favorite stories is how his brother surprised him on the train ride home from his discharge at Camp Atterbury, IN.  Hobert knew his brother would be on the train.  Somewhere between Columbus, IN and Louisville, they met.  It had been five years since they last saw each other and when Hobert sat down beside Earl on the train, Earl did not recognize him.  It was a great surprise as the train rolled the tracks into Louisville.

Hobert Judd passed away in 1984 at the age of 56.
