LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A domestic dispute between a PRP man and his mother escalated Monday night, placing three police officers and neighbors in danger, according to a Louisville Metro Police citation.

Investigators said Sean Bullock, 20, pulled a loaded rifle out of the trunk of his car and aimed it at the officers who had responded to the dispute. According to the police report, Bullock assumed a firing stance, prompting one of the officers to fire one round. Bullock was not hit.

At that point, police said, Bullock surrendered. Officers found a bag of marijuana in his pocket.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Monday outside a home on Chadron Drive near South Beahl Street, not far from PRP High School.

The area was blocked off with police tape for several hours as neighbors watched.

Police said they would test Bullock for drugs and alcohol. He was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment, menacing, possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct.
