Gibson is charged with two murders. Investigators say he strangled long-time family friend Christine Whitis, 75, in April. He is also charged in the strangulation of Karen Hodella, 45, a woman he met at a bar. Hodella's body was found along the banks of the Ohio River in 2003.

Gibson is also suspected in the death of a third woman, Stephanie Kirk, 35. Police found Kirk's body buried in Gibson's backyard on Friday. She disappeared in March while walking to a bar. So far, no one is charged in Kirk's death.
