LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Firefighters are investigating the second fire in a month at a Butchertown apartment house.

The building on Franklin Street caught fire around 8:00 Tuesday night. It is the same apartment house where investigators said a man trying to dry out marijuana leaves caused an explosion on April 19. That man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No one was hurt in Tuesday's fire.

A neighbor said the house was abandoned and that the owner had been remodeling the place.

Firefighters said construction workers might have started the most recent fire accidentally, but the cause was still under investigation.
