SHEPHERSDVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Bullitt County school employee is facing serious charges after allegedly taking inappropriate pictures of a student.

"Mr. Tolle was a computer tech with Bullitt County Public Schools since January of 2012," Bullitt County Schools attorney Eric Farris told WAVE 3 News.
Farris says things seemed to be going well with 41-year-old Christopher Tolle's employment with the district; that is until April, when a student alerted school authorities and police about some inappropriate behavior.
"He had done some work in the home of the mother in Jefferson County and established a relationship," Farris said.
Court documents say Tolle went a step further and stole a key to the mother's Louisville home, came back and took pictures of the student's undergarments, but apparently left the camera behind.
He would later be arrested, facing charges of burglary and stalking.
The district decided to suspend Tolle without pay after speaking with an LMPD investigator.
"He believes that it was an infatuation with this one young lady, a student at Bullitt East High School. We do not have any reason to believe that anything inappropriate happened," Farris said.
Tolle didn't answer when WAVE 3 stopped by his Louisville home.
Officials say they don't believe anything happened inside the school and believe it's an isolated incident since Tolle worked behind the scenes with computers at schools across the district.
They say nothing seemed out of place in his nearly five months on the job.
"He had a good criminal history background check and his work history was good with the district," Farris said.

He is charged with 2nd degree burglary and 2nd degree stalking.

Tolle is expected back in court in June.
