LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE)– The University of Louisville's Family Business Center will be holding a seminar about the development methods of family business. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, and will be held at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
During the seminar participants will be able to explore some of the best-practices for maximizing talent in a family business, and learn how to translate career development into promotion, succession, and strategic decisions.
The seminar will be lead by Dr. Kent Rhodes, who maintains a successful coaching and consulting practice for a variety of family-owned businesses. Rhodes also has experience in strategic planning with an emphasis in clarification of mission, vision, and cultural influences in organizations.
Seating is limited for the event, and registration is required. The cost is $25 per person for Family Business Center (FBC) members, $50 for Professional Advisor members $40 for guests of FBC members, and $125 for non-members.
