Who has given us freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to assemble?
Who has given us the right to vote and right to a fair trial?
It is the veteran we just honored on Memorial Day. Veterans richly deserve accolades and memorials.
We should hire them, salute them in Facebook posts, and consider donations to them through the Disabled American Veterans fundraising program.
Our elected leaders should address concerns of VA mental health care providers on the lack of staff and space to meet skyrocketing demands.
Indiana's 550,000 veterans and their families and Kentucky's 335,000 veterans and their families deserve our heartfelt thanks and prayers.
We should fly the American flag every day in their honor.
