Man facing felonies after killing teen

SHELBYVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A central Indiana man is facing three felony counts in connection with the deadly shooting of a teen playing paintball on his property.

A grand jury indicted 41-year-old Jason Bagley, of Shelbyville, on two counts of criminal recklessness and one count of obstruction of justice.

17-year-old Brandon Spangler died after being shot December 30.

Bagley said he allowed the Spangler's to play paintball on his property, but didn't know they were there when he thought he was shooting at coyotes.
