Car crashes into electric fence

EVANSVILLE, IN (WAVE) – An Indiana woman had to be rescued from her car after slamming it into an electric fence.

The accident happened Saturday night. Police said one of the car's tires blew out causing it to hit a telephone pole before crashing into the electric fence.

Special equipment had to be brought in to help get the driver out.

The woman only suffered minor injuries.
