SELLERSBURG, IN (WAVE) - A hot air balloon crash in Sellersburg has injured three people.

Clark County Central Dispatch told us the accident happened around 8 o'clock Wednesday night near State Road 60 and Ebenezer Church Road. They said the balloon came into contact with power lines causing it to crash.

We were told three people were on board the balloon at the time of the accident. Clark County officials told us that a couple who had just gotten engaged was in the balloon that is owned and piloted by Dallas Beall who owns Dallas Jewelers in Louisville.

Major Chuck Adams with the Clark County Sheriff's Office told CNN that a couple got engaged during the balloon trip. He said the balloon landed in an area where the grass was too high so they raised up and tried to land again when they hit the power lines.

Adams said when the basket brushed the lines, it shocked the pilot who fell into the bride-to-be and shocked her. The shock knocked the pilot unconscious and the groom-to-be performed CPR until medics arrived.

We are told the three were treated at the scene for burns.

The woman said yes to the proposal when the balloon touched down the first time.
