LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) - The man accused in the murder of a 15-year-old Louisville boy spoke to WAVE 3 from behind bars.

James Mallory is accused of killing Gregory Holt through the bedroom door of his Clover Street apartment.

Then, just a few weeks ago, Holt's mother and three others were arrested for allegedly trying to shoot Mallory the night before Holt died.

From Metro Corrections, Mallory told us Wednesday that he didn't kill Holt even though he knew Holt's mother Kendra Wilson.

"I'm basically deemed as the bad guy. I'm deemed as not only the bad guy. I'm deemed as the rat, I'm deemed as a murderer, I'm deemed as all these things when that's not... What I'm being depicted as, it's not who I am," Mallory told us.

Mallory was supposed to testify for the prosecution in the attempted murder trial of John "Hot Boy" Jones and court documents identify him in a witness in other high-profile cases.

He says he is not a snitch.
