Good Thursday (Friday eve) afternoon!

I hope you'll join Dawne Gee and me for WAVE 3 News at 5!

We're waiting for word from the jury in the trial of the former Trinity teacher accused of inappropriately touching a student.  Donald Switzer took the stand in his own defense today.  We'll have the latest from his testimony and deliberations.

WAVE 3's David Williams is down in Hart County this afternoon following up on the bus that crashed with more than 50 people on board.  He talked to some of those 6th grade students about what was going through their minds as it happened.

And, there are some great savings to be had on groceries at your local farmers' market but you have to know when to buy.  WAVE 3's Lori Lyle is Stretching Your Dollar and improving the food on your dinner table.

Plus, WAVE 3 Sports Director Kent Taylor has been hard at work up at Belmont Park ahead of this weekend's race.  His live reports start today at 5!

We'll see you then!
