Infant death under investigation

MADISON, IN (WAVE) – Indiana State Police troopers investigating the death of an infant said on Wednesday they have not ruled out homicide in the case.

According to an ISP news release, a 911 caller reported a child injured at an undisclosed location in Madison, IN on June 7. The child, one-month-old Christopher Coy, was rushed to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison and then flown to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville where he died on June 9.

ISP is calling this a death investigation but said homicide has not been ruled out as a possible cause of death.
