Happy Friday evening!

I hope it's going well for you.  I just got to hang out in the NuLu area (East Market) tonight for a story I'm doing so I know a lot of you are out and about having some fun.  I hope you'll make time in your busy evening to join me for WAVE 3 News at 11.

I'm sure you heard the news earlier: the Koch family is dropping its plans to reopen Kentucky Kingdom as Bluegrass Boardwalk.  Tonight, we've talked to a Louisville official who was just as shocked as everyone else.  Plus, WAVE 3's David Williams is taking a look at what's next for the troubled park.

I'm listening to an interview with the daughter of the man who prosecutors say was the intended victim of his wife's plot to see him dead.  The jury didn't agree and found Diane Simpson not guilty tonight.  We'll get the reaction from her step-daughter.

And, that story out of Russell County from yesterday just keeps getting more heart-breaking – a jogger and mother of three was killed after she around from a run with her sister.  Tonight, we're hearing from police and those who knew her about what they think caused the attack.

We'll see you at 11!
