LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Playground equipment and desks were loaded onto a trailer while the Heavenly Angels owner held an everything must go sale.

The sale was being held after Lavonia Lewars decided to voluntarily shut down three of her Heavenly Angels daycares.

Lewars talked on-camera for the first time since the deadly crash in a WAVE 3 interview Saturday. She opened up about the fatal van accident and the latest in the investigation.  "When I know something, I will definitely let you know.  But right now I'm mourning the death of my employee, the one fighting for her life and my kids that's in the hospital," Lewars said.

Tuesday, a van from her daycare crashed into a tree, killing 31-year-old Heavenly Angels Tiffany Belk and sending 14 people to the hospital.

When asked by WAVE 3's Scott Adkins, Lewars did not specify whether the proceeds from the sale were going toward a fund for the children or the death of her employee, "Right now, we don't know. Right now, yes, when I find out anything I'll definitely let you know, ok?"

Throughout Saturday, equipment has left the Heavenly Angels location along Dixie Highway.
