The heat is on; Power problems; Waterfront attack

Good evening!!

I'm enjoying my first day back from vacation and Scott Reynolds and I are getting ready to wrap up the day with WAVE 3 News at 11!  I hope you'll join us!

I bet you've heard about the forecast – it's about to get HOT!!!  WAVE 3 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Harned will give us his latest thinking about when the heat will head our way and how long it will stay.

With that daunting heat in the forecast, we're thankful for our working air conditioning (mine went out last week and I'm grateful it's back on!!)  What if you lost power during this summer heat??  WAVE 3's Connie Leonard talked to people in one neighborhood who say it's a reoccurring problem and they want it fixed!

Plus, WAVE 3's Katie Bauer spoke to one mother who thought her teenage son would be safe at one of Louisville's most popular places until he was beat up.  She'll have more on the attack and who the mother thinks is behind it.

And, former UK star Anthony Davis has embraced his unibrow and now he's taking steps to make sure no one else can profit off of it.

We'll see you at 11!
