Light Peach Sauce

Serve over ice cream, pound cake, angel food cake or cheesecake.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups large diced (3/4-inch) peaches
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ cup sugar OR 2 or 3 packets of artificial sweetener*
  • ½ cup blueberries

Directions if Using Sugar:

  • Heat peaches gently with sugar and lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat and stir in blueberries.
  • Serve warm.

Directions if Using Artificial Sweetener:

  • Heat peaches gently with lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat and stir in blueberries.
  • Cool slightly and stir in sweetener to taste.
  • Serve warm.
