Emilie Voss is a two-time Emmy Award-winning anchor. You can see her on the 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newcasts along Jerry Anderson on WTOL. She also investigates and solves consumer problems as a member of the Call 11 for Action team.
Emilie is originally from California, and fell in love with this area during her 2 years as a morning anchor in Michigan. She loves the people, outdoors, and the weather.
Emilie spent 6 years as a morning anchor in Palm Springs, California and Lansing, Michigan before moving into her role as prime time anchor in Toledo. Emilie started her career on the Western Slope of Colorado in Grand Junction. She was a weekend anchor and reporter. She also shot and edited most of her own stories, and produced the newscasts she anchored.
Since arriving in Toledo in 2012, Emilie has been involved with several community organizations and was recognized for her efforts with a 2014 20 Under 40 Leadership Award.
Although well aware she is now in Buckeye Country, Emilie is a Trojan fan. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in theater.
Outside of work she loves to travel, hike, play tennis, and do pretty much anything outdoors.
