Making plans for the weekend!

I hope your weekend plans are filled with lots of fun or relaxing things to do … and hopefully your plans include sitting down to watch WAVE 3 News at 11 tonight!

I remember covering this story well: a Jeffersonville woman who was convicted of battery in a road rage shooting is now set to be released from prison after just three years.  In a WAVE 3 exclusive, Connie Leonard talked to the victim, Wes Mosier, who says he's nervous about Yalanda Parrish's scheduled release.

Traffic is no longer flowing on I-65 ... at least northbound from the Watterson through downtown.  We're talking about the new places you'll want to avoid.

A Kentucky woman hasn't voted literally since the sale of sliced bread but she's going to the polls this year.  Find out what's leading her to cast her ballot for the first time in 84 years.

And, bring on the RAIN!  A lot of people around here were hoping for some relief from the drought today.  We'll talk to WAVE 3 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Harned about when we might get some rain if we didn't see it today.

We'll see you after Dateline NBC for WAVE 3 News at 11!
