Storms apparently spark several fires, Hardin County woman forced to drive at gunpoint

Fires and Lightning!

We've had several fires in Kentuckiana since late this afternoon, and it's believed lightning strikes could be the culprit. The biggest fire struck an apartment complex near I-264 and Taylorsville Road. WAVE 3's Matt McCutcheon talked with residents who had to flee from the smoke and flames.

You'll hear from WAVE 3 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Harned about the chances for more of that type of storm tomorrow.

A Hardin County woman was forced at gunpoint to drive into Southern Indiana. Tonight police have a sketch of the suspect who ended up jumping out of the car and running away.
