WAVE 3 Editorial - July 24, 2012: Feedback

Our editorial on the 78,000 deadbeats in Jefferson County stirred up some emotions.

Pam emailed: "Thank you for speaking up about our failing child support system. My ex-son in-law hasn't paid child support in three years. They locked him up, let him out and put him on home incarceration. Really?  My daughter is raising 13 and 14 year old boys on her own. They are barely surviving. What is wrong with these judges who let them go and live their life while their children do without?"

Bill was equally frustrated, emailing: "It's time to reform the whole family court system so that both parents pay an equal share of support and put an end to this welfare mentality that a lot of women have that feel that they are owed something."

Carol emailed: "Some of these parents have fallen on hard times, but some of them should have never been allowed the privilege of creating human life at all!"

Regarding our editorial on electing a president, Mike emailed: "It's a bad system. If you are a Democrat in Kentucky or a Republican in California you might as well stay home because your vote for president is useless."

We welcome and appreciate all of your feedback.
