Three days until the Olympic Opening Ceremony!!

The skies opened up tonight and it looks like a lot of us got some much needed rain – some of us maybe too much!!  WAVE 3 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Harned will let you know how much and how things are looking for the rest of this "Olympic" week when you join Scott Reynolds and me for WAVE 3 News at 11!

Two Louisville men are in some pretty big trouble as police say they crossed state lines to commit their crimes … and it cut off communications for some innocent people nearby.

I just saw some amazing video that goes along with a pretty sad story.  An ambulance flipped over today on a Northern Kentucky road and killed the patient inside.  We'll tell you how it happened.

And we've heard plenty of sad stories that came out of Kentuckiana from the March 2nd tornadoes, but we've also seen stories of resiliency.  WAVE 3's Katie Bauer has one of the latter ones, the story of a family who lost the home that had been in their family for 100 years.  Now they're in their new place and they want to share it with you!

Remember to visit the Olympic Zone on to make sure you're prepared for the Games this week.  There are a lot of behind the scenes stories you can find there.  And if you want to be in the know and learn the results before NBC's coverage airs, you can click here to sign up for our "spoiler text messages."  You'll also get a first look at what the medals look like for the London Olympics tonight at 11!

We'll see you after NBC's Love in the Wild.
