LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Fire investigators continue sifting through the damage of a large commercial building where two businesses were damaged by fire.
Smoke engulfed Discount Tires and Major Styles around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Firefighters were on the scene in the 4000 block of East Indian Trail near the intersection of Poplar Level Road until early Sunday morning.
Okolona's Fire & Rescue responded along with three other fire departments. It appeared the ignition source was inside Discount Tires.
Witnesses said they saw sparks from a transmitter before the fire, but the fire chief did not confirm whether the sparks had anything to do with the blaze.
The large commercial building is not a total loss.
