School releases tornado surveillance video

SALYERSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The same storm that ripped through Henryville, Indiana in March also wreaked havoc on a school in Kentucky.

Tuesday, the school released security video showing the powerful punch of the tornado that hit Salyersville Grade School.

Two camera angles show the devastation it caused in the gym. Other cameras show two maintenance workers as one is tossed around by the heavy winds.

The school was destroyed, but while it is being rebuilt students still returned classes in an old warehouse.
