It seems like this week is flying by …

… Can you believe it's Wednesday already?  I don't know where the time goes … the minutes are ticking down until you join Dawne Gee and me for WAVE 3 News at 5!

Did you hear about what police say was happening at a New Albany daycare? They've arrested a man for selling drugs out of the same place where the kids were staying.  WAVE 3's Scott Adkins talks to the daycare owner tonight.

And there's another big break for police in New Albany … They'd been working to track down a truck that once belonged to suspected serial killer William Clyde Gibson and now they've found it, hundreds of miles away.  We'll explain how that happened.

It was a bittersweet back to school for a Bullitt County middle schooler who, for the first time, gets to have her soldier dad by her side to start the school year.  WAVE 3's Katherine Kington introduces us to the pair.

Plus, Dawne just told me that her Pass the Cash is so emotional today, a story you really won't want to miss.  A woman passes the cash to her coworker … but the gift will impact the coworker's teenage daughter.

We'll see you as soon as NBC's early coverage of the Olympics wraps up, right around 5:00!
