Two house fires in West Louisville just blocks away

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Firefighters were called to two house fires down the street from each other in West Louisville.

According to MetroSafe, they received a call of the first fire at 7 Sunday evening. They said a call about the second fire came in a short time later.

MetroSafe said the first fire started in the backyard at a home at 2012 Rowan Street. The fire then spread to the shed. The second fire was at a home at 2530 Rowan Street. A door frame was smoldering when crews arrived at that home.

No injuries have been reported in either fire.
