Goodbye London; Parents react to shooting that left two injured; People comes together to support Sikh community

The curtain comes down in London

Tonight, we say goodbye to London. Hope that you have been enjoying the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony! The Olympics finished on a musical note. Pink Floyd, Spice Girls and others rocked out Olympic Stadium. London really rolled out the welcome mat for everyone...I think they did a great job hosting the games. Now, all eyes shift to Rio de Janeiro.  Tonight on WAVE 3 News, we'll show you how the 2016 games are being prepared for.

Another story we are following..two children are the victims of violence in their own neighborhood in Louisville.  We told you about this story last night. One child was shot in the leg, the other was grazed.  Thankfully, these two young victims are going to be okay.  They were released from the hospital and back home tonight with their families. WAVE 3's David Williams talked to parents in that neighborhood who say they refuse to live in fear.

It was one week ago that tragedy struck a Wisconsin Sikh temple. You may remember, a gunman killed six Sikhs and injured three other people. Tonight, we'll take you inside Kentucky's one and only Sikh temple, where the community is coming together to remember those slain in Wisconsin

Beautiful weather this weekend will give way to a stormy start to the week. Meteorologist Lauren Jones is tracking storms that may develop by tomorrow afternoon and evening...some of which could become strong to severe.

We'll be on at 11:20 tonight...Hope you join us!!!
