LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The name of an officer who wrecked their police cruiser into a home has been released.

Around 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Kenneth Angelini crashed into a home in the 6300 block of Outer Loop, just west of Smyrna Road.

Angelini was taken to University Hospital where he was treated and released.

He has been an officer since 2007 and is currently assigned to the 7th division.
