Long entrance lines causing headaches for fairgoers
The sun was shining brightly at the fair Saturday afternoon.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The beautiful weather is bringing tens of thousands of people to the Kentucky State fair.
From all of activities for fans to enjoy such as concerts, games, rides and livestock shows; to all of the foods to choose from, people are showing up by the car load to enjoy their time at the fair.
"You can expect as we have seen all day today, a lot of people and a lot of traffic," said Amanda Storment, Kentucky Fair Board spokesperson. "The weather is just perfect for coming out to the fair. It's a Saturday. A lot of people are off, so they want to come out and spend their free time at the Kentucky State Fair. There's a lot to see. You can come early in the morning and stay until late at night."
Officials encourage attendees to allow extra time to get to the fair, especially if you are coming for a concert.
