LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man seriously injured in Oldham County as a suspect drove away from police at high speeds has died.
Charles Klosterman, 65 from Westport, died Saturday from complications from the crash.
Police say on June 13, Nicholas Snoddy was driving at speeds up to 100 miles an hour on Highway 53 and switched lanes, hitting Klosterman's motorcycle. They say an officer had tried to stop Snoddy just before the crash, but couldn't safely catch up to him.
Snoddy has been free on bond, facing charges of first degree assault since the crash. With Klosterman's death, the charges could be upgraded to murder.
