Woman arrested for striking officer in head

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman is facing assault charges after police said she struck an officer in the head.

Employees at a Burger King on Broadway called police when they said Darice Miller, 43, started cursing and acting out of control.

When police arrived and asked her to put her hands behind her back officers said miller turned around and struck one of the officers in the head.

Officers said Miller is a problem in the area and has been banned by several different businesses.
