LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - Makayla Epps, daughter of former University of Kentucky Point Guard, Anthony Epps has committed to the same school her father won a national championship.
Monday afternoon, after an unofficial visit, Epps committed to the school. She is ranked as the 37th best player in the country by ESPN.
Epps had previously committed to the University of Louisville before re-opening her recruitment in July.
Her commitment comes less than a week after her high school teammate Kyvin Goodin-Rodgers, daughter of former UofL forward Tick Rodgers,committed to the Cats. Goodin-Rodgers had also previously committed to UofL.
