Rain in the forecast, woman arrested for killing grandmother, escaped inmate captured

Governor's Cup showdown on Sunday may feature rain

 


I can hear the trash talking already!  Tomorrow Cats and Cards fans will pack the Papa for the Governor's Cup.  If you are headed out to watch the rain...you may want to pack an umbrella or poncho.  Meteorologist Andy Weingarten is tracking some rain that may move through tomorrow during the game. We're also following some new developments in a disturbing story out of Okalona.  A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for murdering her grandmother.  WAVE 3's David Williams went back to the neighborhood where Mary McClain's, 62, body was found on Monday at a home on Judge Blvd. Today, we learned some gruesome details about the investigation. Police say Ellen Nicole Crawley admitted to killing her grandmother.

New developments tonight in the search for two inmates that escaped this week. One of the inmates who is a registered sex offender has been found. The Breckinridge County sheriff says Robert Waddell has been captured. We'll tell you where police found Waddell.
