Clarksville neighbors oppose apartment complex proposal

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Developers and residents plan to attend Clarksville's Board of Zoning Appeals meeting Wednesday night as neighbors protest a proposed apartment complex.

The development is slated to be built along Hunter Station Road near an entrance for three subdivisions: Plum Run, Plum Creek and Plum Lake.

Blueprints call for 120 apartment units, clubhouse and pool. Developers previously indicated the property would have two entrances onto Hunter Station Road.

The developer, J&S Builders, planned to donate a 4-acre park near the Plum Run entrance that would be donated to the Clarksville Park Department.

A homeowners association board member opposing the project told WAVE 3 neighbors would ask for a continuance during Wednesday's meeting.
