The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. September 6 at Springdale Community Church, 4600 Springdale Road, located near the junction of Interstate 71 and the Gene Snyder Freeway (Kentucky 841/Interstate 265).

During the shooting, police said 10 to 20 people were in the church. In addition to the homeowners association meeting, a bible study was also taking place when the shots rang out. A retired police officer who was at the meeting was able to subdue Hindi.

According to neighbors, the shooting was the result of an argument over a concrete driveway that Hindi built on his property.

Hindi, 55, will be arraigned on Saturday morning.
