Police: Husband kills man after catching him with wife

CHARLOTTE (WBTV) - A man has been charged with murder after police say he caught another man inside a parked car with his wife at a north Charlotte business park.

Police were called to the NorthPark business park, off Sunset Road, around 10:45 Friday night.

There they found Derrick Lee Miller, 41, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. MEDIC pronounced Miller deceased at the scene.

Police charged Marcus Darnell Turner, 37, with murder. They say Turner caught Miller with his wife inside a parked car. Turner admitted he shot Miller and called 9-1-1.

Turner remains in the Mecklenburg County Jail.
