KSP still looking for escaped inmate

BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – The search is still continuing for an inmate who escaped from work release.

Officers said David Dowell, 50, walked away from a recycling program Friday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police told WAVE 3 he was behind bars on a burglary and assault charge.
