Officers honored for saving life; TARC bus shooting evidence; SUV drives on sidewalk

WAVE 3 News Anchor Janelle MacDonald WAVE 3 News Anchor Janelle MacDonald

Good Thursday evening to you!

We're starting off with an emotional reunion tonight between a Louisville man stuffed in his own car trunk and the Metro Police officers who rescued him.  WAVE 3's Katie Bauer talked to all three of them and she'll have this incredible story when you join Scott Reynolds and me for WAVE 3 News at 11!

I also watched some video that made my heart hurt tonight: newly-released evidence that shows what happened on a TARC bus the day that Rico Robinson, Junior was shot.  We'll let you see much of that video for yourself so you can get an idea of what happened between him and the two men accused of killing him.

A driver on another bus pulled out his cell phone to record an SUV driver who drove up on the sidewalk to avoid waiting for the stopped school bus.  But that SUV driver had a surprise waiting for her.

It looks we're about to get a taste that fall is truly arriving.  WAVE 3 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Harned will tell us about another dip in temperatures coming our way.

We'll see you after Rock Center with Brian Williams at 11:00!
